Treats in the post day! Being the first week back at work since my holiday, this box was perfectly timed to perk me up! Being back to school time all these treats will travel easily in bags and lunch boxes without being squashed, if you dare to share your treats with your kids that it! If you love tupperware as much as me, you are bound to have those teeny tiny pots that you were once mocked for buying, but have proved endlessly useful! Well most of these snacks are picky style so you could break these down so you could have a mix of munchy seeds and nuts and even pop some mango in a pot and send your kids (or you) with a mix of each.

So enough with my food fantasising and let's see what's in my box!

Darling Spuds - Crushed Natural Sea Salt Crisps
Featured a few months ago, this was the first thing I ate out of that box, so we know these are a hit! My crisp and dip obsession was well catered to when I was on holiday. This smaller bag will be perfect for my portion control, as I do need to loose a few holiday pounds, but I can't give up my crisp treats!

Honeybuns - Mini Snowy Hills
I was so sad that Honeybuns open weekend was this week as last week I was right on their doorstep. Having this in the box doesn't make me feel so bad that I am missing out on coffee and cake there! Snowy Hills is a lovely ginger and polenta shortbread, topped with lemon sponge. Believe me I thought it was odd when I first heard of it, but it's honestly one of my favourite cakes! The flavours work so well together!

Chika's - Black Pepper Cashews
Chika's are in this box again this month, but now with some black pepper cashews. I love salt and pepper crisps and I also love cashews, so this is very much like combining the two! This pack has 268 calories so I will more than likely break this down into four portions, as there is a reasonable amount in there for a snack pack style product.

Urban Fruit - Magnificent Mango
Urban Fruit have such fun packaging! This 103 calorie snack pack contains one of your five a day and is just baked fruit. I love these snacks and mango is one I don't think I have tried yet!

Munchy Seeds - Choccy Apricot
New to Snackly, these sound like my kind of treat! With a great taste gold 2010 star, these Belgian chocolate coated sunflower and pumpkin seeds with dried appricot pieces sound amazing. Also something I know James won't touch as he isn't a fan of seeds... so more for me!

Walkers Gluten Free Pure Butter Chocolate Chip Shortbread
I was hoping and praying that these would make an appearance! I loved the plain shortbread that arrived in the Snackly box a couple of months ago and when I saw that there was choc chip ones on their website, I knew I had to try them! These are firmly in my lunch box as my Monday treat at work to help me get through packing all the boxes! 

Sorry there is no links this month, I can't work out for the life of me how to do it on the iPad app! I will add them once I'm back on the iMac!

It's time for another Snackly open box! August should bring lovely summery weather, we have seen a couple of good days, but let's hope the bright yellow sticker and Lego style image on the card along with all these summery snacks makes the sun kick itself into gear!

What with taking a holiday to Dorset in the next couple of weeks, these are perfect in the car snacks for what could be a 6 hour journey! Also I have held onto some of my other Snackly goodies to have for picnics whilst away! That's why I love these sizes!

So what's in this month's box?

Honeybuns Mini - Almond Moon - RRP - £1.05
My eye was instantly caught by this product, you all know how much I love Honeybuns. We saw this featured in our April box I think! I am very very happy to receive another Almond moon as I love the flavour and I am waiting to get through a few more cakes I have in my cupboard and freezer before I do a buy a bulk from Honeybuns! This will certainly tie me over in terms of a Honeybuns fix!

Kent & Fraser - Choc Chip Cookies - RRP £2.29 for full box
Ginger, Lemon and now Choc Chip, we are slowly getting through the whole range! These cookies have had a fantastic consistancy so I am excited to try the choice chip version! Seeing that the chocolate chips are dark is also a perk for me, as I love dark chocolate!

Darling Corn - Sea Salt Toasted Corn Kernels - RRP £10.80 for pack of 18
A few months ago I received the barbecue version and loved them. It'll be interesting to try a plainer flavour, I love a lot of salt in general so I hope these are well salted! They only contain corn, sunflower oil and sea salt, so there is no major allergens which means they are great for egg and dairy allergy suffers too!

Quibbles - Chilli Honey Peanuts - RRP?
I have never heard of Quibbles before, this is why I love Snackly, there's always something new! This 30g snack bag which is made in Britain seems to only have natural clean ingredients. I imagine these will be like the chilli peanuts my Dad loves as through the bag they look more coated in a crispy coating rather than a seasoning. This bag contains 150 calories , so is nicely portion controlled.

Hale Kale - Sweet Chilli Crisps - RRP ?
Kale crisps are something that passed me by as I think they are so hard to find. This sweet chilli flavour is completely me if it isn't too hot as I love the M&S sweet chilli crisps. This will make a healthier, more nutritious change to regular crisps. At around 25 calories for this bag they are a great low calorie snack.

Handmade by Cobden and Brown - Hazelnut Chocolate - RRP ?
I have a recipe to share soon on an amazing chocolate hazelnut cake my brother baked from the Hairy Bikers book. My family (expect my Dad, who clearly needs help!) love hazelnut and chocolate, so I will have to keep this well hidden. Handmade in Northern Ireland this 50g bar is wrapped in a very crafty way, which speaks to the card-maker in me!

I would love to know what you're most excited to try from your box, I think the chocolate and kale crisps are a must try first!

One of my guilty pleasures in life. Crisps. I have raved on and on about how I love them so and how all my childhood photos of me, I always have crisps in my hand! Looking back, not always gluten free... oops! I really must dig those photos out and feature them on here one day, as I am sure they will give you all a good laugh!

Well today it was the turn of Darling Spuds, a brand I have heard of but never tried. This is what I find fantastic about snackly, always something new to try. This 18g bag was pretty perfect for me too, as although I do like to live a healthy lifestyle I have found that I cannot live without my crispy potato friends. At 88 calories I find I can get away with this everyday rather than a 200 calorie normal bag. Buying these in their bulk box is not too pricey either so is defiantly something I am considering.

These are certified gluten free, Vegetarian & Vegan friendly as well as no GMO's, so all round lovely!  It also states it contains no allergens and only being potatoes, sun flower oil and sea salt it's very clean ingredients!

These crisps are thiner then Kettle Chip brand, I would say more like Tyrells. They are thinner which allows them to get a few of those almost translucent crispier, more flavoursome crisps in the pack which are my favourites. The sea salt was nice and chunky but is adhered to the crisp well, which gives a good punch of intense flavour every now and then. I found that the texture was crisp and had a good snap. So all round a very pleasurable experience.

I would most certainly buy these crisps again, however I think I will only be able to order them online, which is to be expected with the 18g bag but I am sure that the sharing bags were in Tesco at one point in time, but they do not seem to be any longer. Which is a shame as I cannot grab them in a supermarket. As I am sure the other flavours would be just as good and is something I would like to try. I will keep my eye out in garden centres food courts as these are the type of brands you find there! If not I really must remember when shopping online to order some!

This months box has been very festive! It felt very valentines themed, even down to the little heart shaped peg!

Everything reminds me of anything to do with love from chocolate to strawberries everything oozes romance!

This box is even more suited to me than the last as I like food that are rather a packet of something than a huge piece of cake, I think that is where my love for crisps came from, so easy to snack on!

So without further ado lets have a look whats in the box!

Eat Chic Pink Chocolate Peanut Butter Heart with Raspberry Jam - RRP £2.40
This chocolate seems very pricey for just one so I am expecting great things! I love peanut butter, raspberries and chocolate so I am excited to give this a go.

Darling Corn Barbecue Toasted Corn Kernels - RRP ?
These are by far what I am most keen to try as I love barbecue flavours and popcorn so I hope I love kernels too, I am interested to see what they look like and the texture as unpopped kernels are very crunchy and would be quite hard to eat so I am interested to see what they are like!

Clearly Scrumptious Sweet Dried Strawberries RRP - 99p
I am actually allergic to strawberries although I can eat strawberry jam so unless it's only fresh strawberries that cause me an issue I won't be able to eat these. However my sister loves strawberries so they will find a good home and I will get her verdict on them! They have won a Great Taste 2013 award so I am sure they will be delicious. I think they are whole from feeling through the pack!

 Clearly Scrumptious Juicy Dried Cranberries  RRP - 99p
Thankfully there is also cranberries from this brand in my box so I can try their products, these have yet to win an award but I have been loving the Ocean Spray Cranberries infused with fruit juice so it will be great to try a different brand to see how they compare! To make it even better these snack packs are only 96 calories and pre portioned, perfect for work!

Chika's Plantain Crisps RRP - £1.45
Banana chips are one of my favourite snacks but I've never thought about trying plantain even though it is in the same family. These chips are also quite a bit healthier as they are not coated in sugar, it only has sunflower oil and salt so is much more clean. The whole bag contains 178 calories and feels much more than what you can eat for the same calories of banana chip so theses look great!

Cobbs Bakery Gluten free Luxury Beligain Chocolate Brownie - RRP ?
I cannot find the price for this. I am not sure how I feel about this product as as I opened the box I thought 'oh another brownie' as I see brownies everywhere, which to be honest was not very fair as I have yet to taste it, so I am going to hold back my thoughts until I have given this a real try.

Organic Livity Banana Spirulina Cake - RRP ?
This is the most peculiar thing I have seen in terms of gluten free food, I assume it will taste like banana bread but I am not sure. I have never seen anything like this before so I really don't know what to expect. I look forward to trying this as it is completely new to me.

Overall I love the contents of this box and I am really looking forward to trying everything. Although this is only my second box I feel the products are getting better each time!
